Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District receives donation for new protective gear

Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District announced they received a donation to buy new protective clothing.

Chris and Kerri Wilson made the $10,500 donation on behalf of the Wilson Family Foundation.

In a Facebook post, the District announced they bought new Wildland Protective Clothing (Brush Gear) with the money.

According to the District, Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District last purchased brush gear approximately 10 years ago.

Each firefighter will receive a new brush coat, helmet, and headlamp.
